Les Gorges
du Verdon
Located in Provence, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the Verdon Gorge is one of the most outstanding natural sites in southern France. With its spectacular limestone cliffs, turquoise waters and protected landscapes, the area offers a remarkable variety of scenery.
The Lower Verdon Gorges, quieter and easily accessible, are the ideal place to discover the Verdon differently, away from the busiest parts of the canyon. Here, the river widens, the cliffs soften and getting out on the water becomes easier.
From our estate, in the heart of the Lower Verdon Gorges, you can explore the river by canoe or paddleboard, head towards Lake Artignosc, Lake Quinson or Esparron-de-Verdon, or reach iconic trails such as the Blanc-Martel trail in the canyon.
Hiking, trail running, cycling, swimming or gentle boating: the Verdon can be enjoyed both on the water and along its paths, in a protected natural setting in Provence, far from mass tourism.
