Reception & welcome

Reception: your information point in the heart of the Verdon

Much more than just a welcome desk, the reception at Verdon Les Grands Domaines campsite is your starting point for discovering the treasures of our region and making the most of your stay.

Open every day, with opening hours displayed at the entrance (varying by season), it offers 2D and 3D tourist maps, hiking and trail running route guides you can download to your phone, as well as plenty of tips for exploring the most beautiful spots in the Verdon.

Our team can also help you choose your activities: canoeing, paddleboarding, electric boats, canyoning, rafting, horse riding or cultural visits, including the Museum of Prehistory in Quinson, thanks to our network of local partners.

Reception is also here to make everyday life easier: hire of plancha grills, plug adaptors, extension leads, extra fridges, bed linen and other equipment.

A question, a special request or looking for good advice? Come and see us! Our team will be happy to help and point you in the right direction to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Food & drink

For a tasty treat at any time of day, our snack bar offers a selection of ice creams, crêpes and cold drinks, as well as bags of ice to keep your drinks cool. The perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring or share a friendly moment on the terrace.

At mealtimes, our restaurant, La Trattoria San Lorenzo – Mediterranean kitchen, welcomes you with generous, home-style cooking. Enjoy carefully prepared dishes in a warm and authentic atmosphere, where simplicity goes hand in hand with good food. Take a look at our menu and treat yourself to a friendly dining experience.

Shop & bread orders

The shop: everything you need for a carefree holiday!

Because on holiday you’d rather relax than rush off to the supermarket, our small convenience shop makes everyday life easier at Verdon Les Grands Domaines campsite!

You’ll find all the essentials for preparing your meals: pasta, rice, lentils, tinned food, sauces, oil and other everyday products. For breakfast, we also stock rusks, jams, spreads and fruit juices. Not forgetting a choice of cold drinks and a selection of local wines, red, rosé and white, to go with your Provençal evenings.

Forgotten something in your wash bag? Don’t panic! Toilet paper, soap, toothpaste, deodorant and other essentials are also available. In summer, some fruit, vegetables and fresh produce complete our range, depending on deliveries.

And to start the day right, you can order your fresh bread and pastries at the bar each day for the following morning. Perfect for enjoying a good breakfast before setting off to explore the Verdon!

The shop is open according to the hours displayed at its entrance. And if you can’t find what you need, just come and see us at the bar! Our team will always do its best to help, find what you need or come up with a solution.

That’s what our family campsite is all about: simple services, a personal touch and a team always ready to help!

Facilities
& amenities

Motorhome
welcome

Motorhome owners are welcome on our estate, with well-equipped toilet and shower blocks for your comfort throughout your stay. Please note that we do not yet have a chemical toilet (cassette) disposal point; this project is currently being planned for the 2027 season.

EV charging
points

Charge your electric vehicle at the campsite!

Travelling by electric car? Verdon Les Grands Domaines provides two 7.4 kW charging points, so you can enjoy your holiday with complete peace of mind.

These points provide steady charging, ideal for plugging in your vehicle in the evening and usually finding it charged the next morning, depending on its battery capacity and initial charge level.

To use them, simply ask at reception during opening hours. Each charging point has its own meter: you only pay for the electricity you actually use, at the campsite’s current rate.

Need a faster charge? Several charging points are also available in the surrounding villages. A great opportunity to charge your vehicle while you explore the Verdon! Our reception team will be happy to tell you about the options nearby.

For safety reasons, charging electric vehicles from the sockets in the accommodations or on the pitches is strictly prohibited, in accordance with our campsite rules.

On site or nearby, everything is in place so you can explore the Verdon with peace of mind!

Les informations pratiques
pour votre séjour

Pets welcome

Your four-legged friends are welcome!

Because holidays are even better when shared with the whole family, pets are welcome at Verdon Les Grands Domaines campsite!

With its wide open natural spaces, trails and stunning scenery, our estate is the perfect setting to enjoy the Verdon with your faithful companion.

To make sure everyone enjoys their holiday, please follow a few common-sense rules:

  • Up to 2 dogs are allowed per pitch or accommodation, provided they are declared when you book.
  • Our four-legged friends must be kept on a lead, even on your pitch, and must not be left unattended.
  • To keep the estate clean and peaceful, please pick up after your dog and make sure it does not disturb other guests.
  • Pets are not allowed in the swimming pools, toilet and shower blocks or play areas.

A few formalities: please bring your dog’s pet passport or health record, showing its identification and up-to-date vaccinations. Category 1 dogs (attack dogs under French law) are not admitted; Category 2 dogs (guard and defence dogs) are welcome, provided all legal requirements and our specific safety rules are met.

At Verdon Les Grands Domaines, holidays are for four-legged friends too! Enjoy nature, walks and great moments outdoors together, with respect for everyone.

Find out more

Are pets allowed free of charge?

Your four-legged friends are welcome! A supplement per pet applies to your stay. The price is shown when you book.

Where can I walk my dog in the Verdon?

The Verdon is full of beautiful trails to explore with your companion! Please note, however, that some routes and protected natural areas are closed to dogs, even on a lead. Be sure to check before setting off.

In summer, the heat can also be hard on our four-legged friends. Set off early in the morning, take plenty of water and adapt the length and difficulty of your walks to your dog’s abilities. Our reception team can advise you on suitable routes.

Is there a vet near the campsite?

Yes, several vets are around 20 to 30 minutes away by car. If needed, our reception team can direct you to a vet nearby.

Is there a pet-sitting option during my holiday?

Yes! Would you like to enjoy an excursion or activity without your companion? A boarding kennel near the estate offers day care or longer stays. Ask at reception for contact details and to arrange care, subject to availability.

Driving & parking rules

At Verdon Les Grands Domaines, we favour peace and quiet and getting around on foot, so that everyone can make the most of the nature and wide open spaces of the campsite. The estate is partly car-free: when you arrive, you can drop your luggage off right outside your accommodation before parking your vehicle in one of our dedicated car parks. On traditional camping pitches, one vehicle may be parked directly on your pitch. For everyone’s safety, the speed limit is 10 km/h (6 mph) and vehicles are not allowed to drive between 11pm and 7am, except in an emergency or with special permission. The areas around the mas, the swimming pools and the restaurant are reserved for pedestrians. These few rules allow young and old alike to enjoy a peaceful setting, far from the hustle and bustle of traffic!

Other useful information for your stay

Living surrounded by nature also means learning to protect it together! To ensure everyone enjoys a pleasant holiday, we ask you to respect your neighbours’ peace and quiet, especially between 11pm and 9am, and to take care of the natural areas and facilities on the estate. Dedicated areas for waste collection and composting are available. As our natural surroundings are particularly vulnerable to wildfires, open fires and charcoal or wood barbecues are prohibited. Plancha grills and approved gas appliances are still permitted, provided safety instructions and weather conditions are respected. Would you like to have visitors during your stay? This is possible under certain conditions: simply let reception know in advance. Any doubts, questions or special requests? Our team is always on hand to help. Here, respect for nature and for others is part of our philosophy: enjoying your holiday freely, while looking out for everyone’s well-being!

What a charming nature campsite! The incredibly friendly staff immediately create a relaxing vibe. Their genuine passion for the site—and all the beautiful things they are building—is great to see. They were also very helpful with planning day trips and sharing great local tips. Our pitch was lovely, spacious, and very peaceful. The food is also highly recommended: you can enjoy a delicious dinner for a very fair price in the cozy courtyard. Furthermore, the surroundings are stunning and perfect for hiking, swimming, and canoeing. Thank you for the warm welcome; we wish you the best of luck with your beautiful place!
